LAUREN MACLEAN

Lauren lives in Port Moody, British Columbia, with her husband, two young toddlers and energetic puppy. She is the author of the children’s picture book, Me and My Sit Spot, and the host of the Mentoring Nature Connections podcast where she interviews educators from across North America on the importance of outdoor learning and play. She is a grade 1 / 2 teacher at her neighbourhood school, and you will often find her exploring the forest trails with her toddlers in her free time.

Fun Fact

Lauren played on the Canadian National Field Hockey team for many years. She went to the Olympic Qualifier Tournament and just missed out on qualifying for the Beijing Olympics. Ugh!!!
